Team History

The Quality Care/Red Carpet Lease Team and the #88 car are a young team. Though all the members have been in NASCAR for some time, as a 'team' they have only been together for a short time. They were formed in 1995 with Dale Jarrett as the driver, little has changed since that time.

Winston Cup History
Dale ran his first Winston Cup race in 1984, by years end Dale had raced 3 Cup races. 1986 rolled around with Dale climbing behind the wheel of a Cup car 1 more time. 1987 Dale found a car, and sponsor for 24 races. 1988 brought Dale 4 differnet cars and owners, before he found the Hardees Pontiac team where he stayed for 1988-89, followed by driving for the Wood Brothers in the #21 Citgo car from 1990-91. Dale scored his first Winston Cup win also that year. He moved to the Joe Gibbs team in 1992 and drove the #18 Interstate Car. In 1995 he moved to the Yates Racing team to replace injured driver Ernie Irvan. Dale also got his first Winston Cup pole that year. In 1996 he got his own car the #88 Quality Care Ford. Dale finally won the Winston Cup in 1999. The rest is history.
